I am currently working as the Purchasing and Quality Control Manager. An entire new field for me. I get to quote new jobs and when they are won I create the production folder so our production team can process the order for shipment. It is fast paced and every day is something different I really enjoy it and the people I work with. I can't wait to see where my new position takes me. It is definitely a lot of work that requires paying attention to detail and using new software such as calcuquote and learning to read Ferber files.

I work in the production department as the Production and Service manager. My goals are to ensure product is manufactured and shipped accordingly, To reach these goals I must assist in maintaining and ordering parts as needed, keep up with new product releases and help keep the wonderful production staff on task. I assist in conducting yearly inventory, I also manage the shipping department and keep up with negotiating rates with our carriers, In addition, after our technical support team has assisted a customer with issues with their equipment in the field if they are unable to resolve those issues then the ticket is sent to me at which time I issue an RMA for the product that needs to be returned for service and I maintain contact with the customer through the repair process until the unit has been shipped back.

Began employment as the Receptionist completing such tasks as alpha/numeric filing, typing business letters as required, answering a 4 line AT&T Merlin Plus phone system, mail distribution, purchasing and receiving office material as well as retail materials. After 6 months I was promoted to Operations Manager where I Supervised 25 employees as well as handle three major builder, did plan take offs to determine the amount of flooring in a new construction home. Day to Day communications with up to 100 Construction Superintendents as well as homeowners to schedule installations and repairs and resolve conflicts. Bill accounts, weekly construction meetings, prepare payroll, load and off load delivery trucks (pallets and rolls), and conduct inventory, negotiate vendor pricing, negotiate builder contracts.
