• Manage and train clerical, package production and warehouse/shipping operators for 24/7 operation of packaged crystalized shortenings and packaged liquid oils.• Promote process and quality improvements throughout the organization.• Report daily OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and production downtime to monitor productivity and production issues• Work on process improvements thru Kaizen teams and plant projects• Directed clerks on personnel needs for weekly schedule for packaging production and warehouse• Supervise supply planning and ordering. Communicate needs to purchasing department.• Report maintenance issues to maintenance department and create work orders in SAP.• Participate on Plant Management Review team of quarterly review of customer issues, quality issues, and management of changes write-ups (MOC) • Report monthly KPI’s to management• Participate in department monthly sanitation walk through and periodic plant sanitation audits• Develop standard operating procedures (SOP’s) & sanitation procedures (SSOP’s) and train operators with GMP’s and federal regulations • Work with Quality Assurance on SQF (level 3)
