*Responsible for the transition from diversity and inclusion to human equity. Currently overseeing a three year project that includes 90 individuals across the organization. Taskforce members include individual contributors – senior executives. The target areas include the following: talent attraction and retention, culture and environment, leadership development, customer focus and supplier diversity & recognition. Implement the Corporate Diversity, Inclusion & Human Equity Strategic Plan by prioritizing objectives, policies and operating procedures in order to integrate diversity, inclusion and human equity into all aspects of the business. *Manage corporate recruiting function including the supervision of three employees. The role includes day to day operations, development of recruiting strategies and implementation of best practices for the overall attraction and selection process to ensure quality candidates. In addition assist with the development and execution of programs, initiatives, and communications designed to attract a diverse talent pool to Vectren. Establish and manage an outreach strategy to increase the diversity of applicant pools.*Manage the Vectren Dream Big Mentoring Program. The program is geared towards high school students. The program increases their knowledge about careers within the utility industry. The program includes a summer camp, mentoring opportunities, job shadowing and community service.*Develop and implement policies and procedures related to the areas of AA and EEO compliance; develop affirmative action plans; file EEO-1 and Vets 4212 reports annually and other local, state, or federal compliance filings. Counsel and advise management, including senior officers and subsidiaries, on EEO related activities and recommend corrective actions when appropriate.
