As the film curator for the FusionFest MYgration Short Film Contest, I find both filmmakers and the people about which they will make a short film. The short films are about this person's journey to Central Florida and how and why they keep their heritage/culture alive. How do they share it or pass it on? What places help keep them in touch with their heritage/culture.

I teach film history in both the brick & mortar and on-line. Responsible for creating and implementing curriculum.

Coordinate B.O. managers. Responsible for reconciling B.O. for all venues every night and at the end of the Festival. Interact with venue representative for overall festival coordination and logistics.Provide a positive guest experience at all GPFF events.Fundraise and coordinate events year-round that are presented by the Global Pece Film Festival. For example, we are one of 60 organizations that have been asked to hold live screenings from the PBS Indie Lens Popup screenings.

Prior to my higher education and festival work experiences, I worked in film production for 20 years and have worked on everything from still shoots to feature films. Most of my experience is in high-end TV commercials as a Producer/Production Manager. I worked in wardrobe, props, art direction, craft services, location department, production coordinator, 2nd A.D., Production assistant, etc. The list goes on. I always felt that if I was going to Produce I had to have an understanding of what each and every one of my team does. Hence, I worked in as many departments as possible. The departments I didn't work in I was always asking questions of those that could give me a better understanding of their job and what it entailed.Producing has made me a very detail-oriented individual and helped me to hone my troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.CV and list of production credits available upon request.
