 Works to reverse engineer devices for TEDAC within a team of forensic engineers and data recovery analysts for the C-IED effort. Creates, manages, and implements process for external requests and projects. Authors technical forensic analysis reports that include functional descriptions, extracted data, device characteristics and associations. Authors and presents briefings to leadership, OGAs, and foreign partners. Acts as main liaison with other units and organizations. Checks facts with other units and organizations and explains technical procedures and data. Independently writes responses to inquiries as well as reports and procedures. Performs requirements analysis, details systems requirements, and develops prototypes. Writes and maintains software code and applications as well as performs quality/security testing. Designs GUIs and performs customer application testing. Writes and maintains software, procedural, and process documentation. Researches, interprets data, and solve issues. Undertakes and succeeds in unique and unprecedented situations on a regular basis. Provides CMMI reviews and SCAMPI A appraisals as needed. Authors, reviews, and edits proposal efforts as needed.

 Led a team of forensic data recovery analysts studying Improvised Explosive Device (IED) electronics. Coordinated weekly client deliveries, managed report production, and guided mission directives. Reverse engineered and recovered user data from captured electronic devices including mobile phones. Recovered stored information and data as well as deleted files from digital media. Authored, edited, and reviewed technical reports. Mastered advanced memory chip extraction techniques for BGA packaging. Trained in evidence handling procedures for chain of custody and blood-borne pathogens. Won two awards for outstanding teamwork and achievement. Analyzed circuits, RF systems, and communications systems. Performed system- and circuit-level troubleshooting. Received letter of recommendation and challenge coin from Director of FBI’s Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC) and FBI’s Operational Technology Division (OTD) Unit Chief

 Multi-tasked between programs needing logistical and cost management, project organization, hardware engineering, and circuit design support. Implemented JTAG failure analysis and integrated circuit testing. Led an Integrated Product Team (IPT) on prototype micro-electronic beaconing device. Participated in several key projects involving military radio testing (Falcon III), microelectronic beacon boards, MEMS switches, and physical device concealment. Designated lead for department-wide training and support on new product management software. Served as lead program manager for laboratory electronics, inventory, and equipment. Contributed while an intern on designing SQL database application with ColdFusion. Performed design and development for electronics utilizing integrated circuits, firmware, software, and operating systems. Repaired printed circuit and wiring boards.
