Willco Communications and Strategic PR helps provide solutions to the marketing/communications challenges of clients in non-profit, public, privately-held and family-owned companies. Building on my 30 years of communications experience, Willco also draws strength from a team of experienced-career professionals available to support strategic planning efforts, training, community engagement plans and crisis communications. Willco specializes in establishing in-house communications, but we can also become part of the team in creating internal/external messaging in print (writing and photography), electronic and video formats; designing meetings of all sizes and coordinating special events.

St. Louis, Missouri

Corporate spokesperson responsible for internal, external and crisis communications for the St. Louis-based, family-owned grocery company (Forbes lists as 17th largest privately owned grocer) of 99 stores and 14,500 teammates across the Midwest. Serve as communications lead for the labor relations initiatives of The Greater St. Louis Food Employers Council comprised of the region's three, largest traditional grocers.

University City

Director of Communications with responsibility for all publications, photography, video projects and district programs and events including Town Hall meetings. Coordinated production of PRIDE newsletter in conjunction with the City of University City. Created the district's first Annual Report and the template was later shared with other districts working to be compliant in this area. Honored by the Missouri School Public Relations Associate for University City High School image package (print and video), PRIDE newsletter and national spotlight on Jackson Park Class time capsule. Established the high school's Alumni Hall of Fame and the Class Acts newsletter. Presently serve as an advisor for the district Communications team.

Creative Project Head responsible for developing and implementing incentive, honor and recognition and idea systems programs for top accounts in automotive, technonolgy and fast food.

Jefferson City, Missouri

Responsible for establishing criteria and equipment and overseeing security for on-line, second-chance and Jackpot Wheel Spin drawing events. Coordinated the participation of contestants in drawing events year-round. Designed special engagement opportunities tha kept excitement building along with Jackpot totals and created special events to promote scratch-off ticket introductions. Activities required working closely with Lottery securities teams, Missouri Highway Patrol and Office of Administration.
