    Holy cow, do they really give this job to new college grads? Wrangling 500 youth and twice as many volunteers is a big job. My favorite aspects were communications, including writing a weekly column for the local paper, and making sure everyone was always in the know. Planning the county fair, organizing constant events and mentoring kids to become fabulous public speakers and leaders took most of my time, but my fondest memory was conjuring up a celebrity pig show -- which, I might add, was a must for all 8 political candidates that year.
