Project manager for leading Ohio retail energy broker specializing in electricity and natural gas. Successfully designed and implemented database system within first year of employment, capturing all Customer and Contract data, allowing Business to quickly acquire dashboard and monthly reporting on Closed Deals, upcoming Renewal activity, Net Position and provided visibility into many other facets of the Business activity as needed.Designed process flows to capture Customer signed deals in system prior to submission to Supplier for booking; this allowed for "one time data entry"​ into what business considers the "System of Record"​. This in turn greatly reduced data inconsistencies, and enabled staff to share pertinent information on a virtually real time basis. Upon completion of getting processes and system running efficiently, implemented procedures to reconcile Supplier's contract data to the contracted data the business captured at time of deal close.

Responsible for performance of functional areas which included Call center, Billing, Collections, Meter scheduling, Meter read accuracy, New Business project planning and implementation (in conjunction with other Functional Areas of company), and Public Relations.

Houston, Texas Area

Recruited by national retail energy company to set up and lead Operations team for the office opening in Columbus for the newly developing Ohio deregulation markets. Put people, processes and systems in place, facing the challenges of frequent changes that inherently come with retail energy markets.Into the second year, became a member of the company wide Systems Task Force which was formed to evaluate the disparate regional offices' systems and processes, and to identify commonalities and look for potential standardizations. This initiative eventually evolved into a corporate driven project to select and implement one common CRM system integration with one common Billing system. With the change in the landscape of the Ohio deregulation markets, accepted a Corporate position out of Baltimore, with primary focus on the system architecture project. Upon roll out of Phase One, accepted the position of Director of Customer Care out of the Houston office. Took a lead role in centralizing the Operation functions by folding regional offices into the Houston group. Also took the lead for company-wide communication pertaining to issues in the various markets throughout North America; worked with Legal, Operations, Marketing and various subject matter experts that came into play.
