AP Position: instruction-focused with secondary responsibilities including operations (school safety plan), master schedule (personnel) and budget (Single Plan for Student Achievement). Goals included: Linked Learning Certification May 2017; Transitioned to full-school Magnet Program 2019; creation of school-wide approach to PBL; increased student enrollment; updated teaching and learning in the classroom to reflect CCSS, Webb’s DOK, SBAC, and rigor/relevance. Created and implemented successful summer program for incoming freshmen. Supervisory elements included: budget, staffing, curriculum, field trips, and counseling. Coordinated creation of the program elements: schedule, activities, and professional development of teachers and student leaders.
