As Chairman of the Murray County Thriving Communities Committee, I led fundraising and organizational efforts to build the stage in Chatsworth City Park, in concert with the Mayor and City of Chatsworth.

Handled media relations and served as overall Company Spokesman. Established the "OptiLink" brand (including naming & copyrights) and created/managed 14 years of successful ad campaigns (print, broadcast, video, billboards, social media and guerilla marketing) resulting in a 70% market share where the service was available. Planned and initiated advertising policies and strategies for OptiLink, as well as created promotional material to increase sales of OptiLink services, working with company departments and advertising agencies. Wrote and edited ad copy, news releases, company presentations and speeches, website and blog copy, email newsletters and social media posts. Presented and served as a panelist at fiber industry meetings and conferences. Executed effective public education campaigns for electricity and natural gas safety, water conservation, wastewater/stormwater education and energy conservation.
