In my role as a Kindergarten Teacher, I designed tailormade teaching plans to address skill gaps and key learning challenges for students ages 5 - 7. I assessed student development and incorporated learning-through-play techniques to enhance the overall learning processes, allowing students to gain key skills and knowledge in an engaging manner. I also received the Teacher of the Month Award in April 2021.

I supported teachers throughout end-to-end lesson planning to ensure TEKS alignment and conducted weekly reviews. In addition, I collaborated with 10 teachers and three professional learning grade levels to ensure regulation of assigned teacher caseload in line with New Teacher Center (NTC) curriculum. In my tenure as an Educational Technology Specialist, I synergized with management teams to design and implement national, district, and campus-specific initiatives for technology integration for 58+ campuses. I facilitated deployments of integrated lesson model for up to 10 teachers from elementary to 8th grade level. I also provided strategic direction to enable the achievement of projects at campus level and coordinated with key personnel for on-time project delivery. Some of my key achievements for this role include: • Hosting multiple training sessions for up to 10 elementary and middle school campuses, focused on coaching students and teachers to utilize Promethean ActivInspire, Microsoft MovieMaker, Plickers, Kahoot, Google Classroom, and Quizizz. Leading training on iPad devices and Chromebooks to ensure understanding of hardware and specific operating systems. • Receiving monthly district Customer Service award for navigating high-level customer issues and utilizing scaffolding strategies to ensure clients feel fully supported throughout the learning process. • Developing 25+ software trainings for the department and more than 15 trainings for district-level stakeholders.

In my role as an elementary school teacher (1st, 3rd, 4th) I taught children ages 6-10 the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. I created lesson plans for my students to not only learn new skills, and addressed the learning gaps with small groupwork. I purposely assessed children development through formative, summative, diagnostic, and criterion-referenced exams and documentation.

Wp Mclean Middle School

I was responsible for general office duties and assisted in the office of the student guidance counselors. I attended to the administrative and organizational tasks to keep the office well-run. I was responsible for authorizing students to visit the counselors, generating reports, taking messages, and deliver any instructions from school administration. I worked with highly sensitive information such as report cards, student disciplinary information, parental communication, and overall cumulative data of all students.
