I am working as an independent practitioner to assist bariatric patients and others to achieve and maintain goals of weight loss and improved quality of life across the board in personal and professional arenas.

I have recently been asked to join the bariatric surgery program team to assist them in rebuilding and refining their incredible resource base for pre and post op bariatric surgery patients. Initially, I will be working with each team specialist to assess their current workload and plan a set of goals for each area of patient care. I have the support of a top level administrative team as well as clinical practitioners and area physicians, who are familiar with the needs of this population across a wide demographic area in CT.

I escort patients through the entire process of preparing for and obtaining bariatric surgery as well as short term post op follow up and long term interaction with patients. Education, emotional support and all relevant areas of successful adaptation to a more productive and more satisfying life.

I was a community educator and speaker for bariatric surgery as it evolved in a 10 year time frame. I asisted numerous surgeons and staff members in refining their daily program operations and response to patient needs.
