Growing up I was always the kid who would “rub dirt in it” and move on. Drink out of the hose and keep playing hard. A military brat that found roots in my family and never in places. This made me resilient, and tenacious later in life. A life that has witnessed a great deal of challenges, successes, failures, trauma, and victories. If I say “I’ve been there, done that” I likely have. I love being the solution finder! Educating and implementing a consolidated strategy for Human Resources Technology [HRIS], communication, and education of Employee benefits through virtual enrollment is what I do! Health Insurance Brokers, Business owners and Government entities rely on Building Blocks and our talented team to engage and enroll employees in ALL of their employee benefits, maintain compliance in Benefits Administration and help employees better understand and appreciate their benefits. We provide Technology ... with a HUMAN touch! As a licensed Insurance agent for over 18 years, I am enthusiastic about assisting individuals in getting on the right path to protect themselves & their families through valuable benefits. Benefits that have financially saved my own family repeatedly!Outside of the professional world, I would say I am fiercely devoted “momma lion.” People that know me would say “if it needs to get done, Lorin will get it done…period.” With a son that suffered a severe Traumatic Brain Injury, leaving him permanently disabled at 19 in a motorcycle accident, we are advocates and try to be role models for parent-caregivers like us that need to know where to start to just get through day-to-day life, when life does not look like it used to. Philanthropy is also especially important to me making personal time also productive, I am the Corporate Sponsor Chair for sherofoundation.org and do whatever I can drive awareness to end trafficking of children in the US.
