The Energy Storage Council (ESC) was established in August 2014 and was a member based not-for-profit organisation focusing on advocacy activities, industry events and training opportunities for the energy storage sector.As Business Development Manager of the ESC, Lorrae was responsible for establishing and developing the Council's major activities, including industry projects, partnerships and events.The ESC hosted the inaugural Energy Storage Council Conference in Melbourne on 13 -14 May 2015 which included 30 expert industry presentations and received over 1500 delegate registrations.The ESC with support of the QLD Government organised Queensland’s first Energy Storage Summit on 17 February 2016 in Brisbane. The Summit brought together 120 delegates including Australia’s leading energy storage companies, government, industry experts and researchers.

The Solar Conference & Exhibition is an annual industry business trade show for the solar industry. As Event Manager for the 2013 and 2014 shows, Lorrae was responsible for managing the planning and operations of the event, developing partnerships and building the brand of the event. Solar 2014 was held in Melbourne on 8-9 May 2014 and hosted over 3,200 visitors from 25 countries, 70 exhibiting organisations and 60 expert conference presenters over the two day show.Solar 2013 was held on 23-24 May 2013 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. With a 30% increase from the previous year, it was attended by 2,200 registered delegates from over 15 countries, and hosted 70 exhibiting organisations showcasing the latest in solar technologies.

All-Energy Australia Exhibition & Conference was launched in October 2009 and grew quickly to become Australia's largest clean & renewable energy event. All-Energy Australia is held annually in October in Melbourne.Lorrae joined the All-Energy Events team to manage the planning and operations of the trade exhibition and networking events for All-Energy Australia’s 2009 – 2011 shows. Lorrae also assisted with building industry partnerships and key supporters for the event.

Green Energy Trading is a leading, independent environmental certificate agent and clean energy market advocate established in 2007. Lorrae assisted in setting up business processes and systems when Green Energy Trading was established in 2007. Lorrae also assisted in organising Green Energy Trading’s education seminars during this time.

The Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE) was a member based industry association representing the sustainable energy industry in Australia. The BCSE was a predecessor of the Clean Energy Council which formed in 2007.Lorrae joined the BCSE in 2004 as an Administration/ Executive Assistant to provide support to the team on a day-to-day basis as well as specific projects including events and publication production support.From January 2006, Lorrae took on the role as Membership and Events Co-ordinator for the BCSE organising various industry events and supporting membership activities.
