Secondary English with QTS.Although I am looking locally for a teaching position, I would be willing to consider a position further afield, should a suitable opportunity arise. Indeed, in 2014-2015 I took the opportunity to work in an isolated part of of MADRID, on a sabbatical and in the mountains no less, where I used my TEFL qualification and Spanish language skills. This experience has since afforded me to now teach English and translate when necessary in Spanish, as a qualified English Teacher. Furthermore, I am also a qualified EVC and can speak Spanish.From September 2021, I have been working in a variety of schools, assigned by an agency with whom I was awarded 'Teacher of the Week.' Since November, I have secured employment at a local academy until May, at a 'Good' Ofsted school. I have certainly 'hit the ground running' and with my current resume, I am sure I could deliver anywhere!
