My career is characterized by a broad array of experience, from offset printshop, to graphic design & art direction, to training & technical support, with a current emphasis on tech support of digital print technology & variable print.I supervised a newspaper layout group, ran a small offset press, and worked for a large commercial printer prepping film and plates. At Kodak, I began in document design. With a penchant for technology & design, I was soon a technical lead for software & hardware maintenance, and a design advisor to my peers.I developed an interest in digital print technology where I supported the scientists developing electro-photographic digital systems.After the sale of my unit to Danka, I took an opportunity at Xerox as a graphic designer and within a year was promoted to art director. I created advertising pieces, technical booth design, and built web sites for internal customers.Corporate changes led me back to Kodak's NexPress to become an application & color support specialist. I enjoyed a wide variety of projects requiring subject matter expertise, such as developing & delivering specific on-site workflow training products. The unique Kodak NexPert Variable Digital Print professional service & consulting program was highly valued by our customers. My strong design experience led me to be technical lead for US sales of DirecType image personalization software, developing a CBT DVD & on-site training. I was privileged to be the support lead on Kodak's unique digital printing breakthrough, NexPress Dimensional Ink, providing training videos and materials. In 2010, I moved to Dayton OH as a color & application support engineer for the launch of yet another new technology poised to revolutionize print with Kodak Prosper Press, a high speed color inkjet solution unique in the industry. After a long career, mostly at Kodak, I have retired. I really miss the people I worked with and the job I had but the next chapter is 'getting me over it' just fine. Good luck and my very best wishes to those carrying on the development of ink jet technologies and those adopting. It has been a privilege to work with so many smart, talented and hard.

In October I joined IPS, located in Dayton Ohio to participate in supporting the latest technology to revolutionize the print industry. It's gratifying to see customers so excited about where Kodak is headed with high speed, high quality color inkjet printing. I've applied my strong customer support skills in helping them get up to speed with training in.
Software support for digital front end, prepress, digital print and variable data workflows. Provide Level 3 call support, interact with customers and field support to resolve issues, get answers. Provide remote diagnostics, repairs and software fix installs to print customers with high demand requirements to turn around jobs. Subject matter expert in.
Began as Graphic Designer, promoted to Art Director after one year. My duties were to work with product managers and customer service reps in our department to direct and produce external and internal communications support products such as product brochures, logo design, web site desgin, interactive flash sites. Worked independently and guided 2 graphic.
