· Manages all operations of the second largest Hope Lodge New York City, a 60-room, short-term residential facility designed to provide free lodging services to patients receiving outpatient cancer treatment in and around Manhattan.· Ensures all policies and procedures for both Hope Lodge operations and general American Cancer Society policies are followed.· Works closely with Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management staff to comply with all policies and procedures and to manage the maintenance of the Lodge’s supplies, upkeep, cleanliness, and security.· Supervises, schedules, and manages a team of 3 full-time and 4 part-time employees of the Hope Lodge, operating 24/7/365.· Manage Hope Lodge staff and volunteers to deliver programs and services to meet the needs of Hope Lodge guests and caregivers. · Collaborates closely with all ACS departments regarding fundraising, marketing, and philanthropic ventures.· Established cross-functional partnerships to collaboratively advance key operational objectives.· Act as project manager for all facility matters from large scale renovations to annual comprehensive cleaning of all floors and guest rooms.· Serves as the primary spokesperson for the Hope Lodge, and actively promote community relations and awareness of its activities.· Contributed to the development of the Hope Lodge budget ($1.6 million annual overhead), securing approximately $750k for the facility.· Ensures timely reporting on monthly, quarterly, and annual tracking reports.· Performs any necessary responsibility in the absence of staff or volunteers. Regulated shift coverage for optimum effectiveness.

· Created Hope Lodge NYC’s inaugural wellness and social program and complementary volunteer efforts; Results: 3,000 wellness programs, 600 social events, 2,500 volunteers. · Co-developed and executed the first Relay For Life Hope Lodge NYC; Results: $22k in year one to $150k+ in 7 years.· Recruited, trained, and managed individual and group volunteers, from corporations, community groups, and high-level donors.· Developed volunteer-based programs with emphasis on training seminar content and manuals.· Worked closely with nationwide staff, corporate executives, celebrities, and elected officials to increase the Lodge’s exposure globally.· Custom-tailored national policies and forms to address local needs.

· Ensures all patient data is entered into Hope Lodge reservation and management system.· Partners with area hospitals, clinics, and health systems in establishing and maintaining guest referrals.· Implemented the Hope Lodge Constituent Relationship Management plan for guests (pre-arrival & during their stay)· Serves as primary point person for all guest issues (admittance, policy adherence, and problem solving).· Established relationships with healthcare workers and referral sources/as well as conducted healthcare worker orientations.
