During my career with the City of Roseville, I administered all employee leaves, including FMLA/CFRA, ADA, reasonable accommodations, COVID leaves and compliance, processed medical retirements as well as administered all aspects of the Worker’s Compensation program. On the Risk Management side, I handled a wide variety of liability claims and was involved in the excess insurance program for this self-insured organization. Earlier in my career with the City, I oversaw safety training compliance, the safety program and created and conducted safety and compliance training programs. I rolled out two Learning Management Systems and a City-wide leaves management program during my tenure. I would say my biggest contribution to the City of Roseville was my top-notch employee relation skills which gained and kept the trust of employees. This skill was extremely important since I was guiding employees through a confusing system during extremely difficult times in their lives. I pride myself on my positive reputation that still exists even after my retirement of over a year ago.
