As the Creative Head of Personal Care at Dyson, I had the privilege of launching the DysonSupersonic™ hair dryer. We started by creating an extensive proposition ‘book’ that covered everyaspect of how we should talk about – and visualise – the product. This informed the brief that went to each of the ‘channel teams’, such as advertising, digital, film.

As Senior Creative my job was to develop conceptual ideas and messaging for new campaigns and pitches. Interrogating the brief to ensure my ideas met the client's requirements, but at the same time pushing the boundaries to excite the client. Ogilvy Action is a ‘Brand Activation’ company. As both Senior Designer and Art Director my job was to find innovative, multi-channel solutions that allowed their clients to engage consumers more meaningfully. The nature of my role meant that I needed to see these projects through from the conceptual stage right through to delivery. We maximised this.

Designing award-winning online advertising for companies such as British Airways, BT, IKEA, Procter & Gamble (Fairy, Pampers, Pringles and Bold), John Lewis, Holiday Inn, NSPCC and DVLA. Rich and standard format ads including banners, overlays, expandable units and some microsites/games. This included the use of video, often requiring going to video/photo.
