I am a Fully NMC Registered GeneralHello, and good day 👋 My name is Louise, I would love to connect. I have 7 years post reg experience. I have been in my present role of fertility sister for 2.5 years. Prior to this I have been in the care sector for 25 years. I started when I was 16 years old.! I have worked within care homes, disability sector as well as hospital environments. I am a dedicated and passionate nurse, taking pride and professionalism within my role. The years of ample experience has provided me with excellent observational, communication, interpersonal, excellent time management, organisational, and practicing empathy skills.This has provided me with the skills and knowledge to empathise and listen, and the courage to delve deeper if required. This has enabled me to build excellent rapport and promote individualised care to patients, families, caregivers and colleagues. I enjoy problem solving and analysing and can be a critical thinker when required, aswell as working autonomously and a great team player.My professional journey has included working and caring for a diverse number of patients and colleagues. I have experience in Endocrine, cardiology, neurological, gynaecology, endoscopy, respiratory A&E to name a few. I do have experience in triage and discharging patients and have the ability to make autonomous decisions under pressure. Within the last 13 years I have worked across one trust. I have successfully Built my career from the bottom of the hierarchy system from health care assistant to a sister role within that trust. 👋 😊I enjoy gaining new skills and experience in all wards and areas of the trust. I am looking to move my knowledge and skills to different sectors and opportunities. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, reading and writing.
