In my research, I bring together skills in web/mobile development, applying AI to user interfaces and systems, and UX design and research. I use these skills to develop and evaluate novel social technologies for playing and socially connecting across distance. While a research intern on Google Research's People AI Research team (http://pair.google.com/), I studied how novice music composers could be better supported when co-creating with a deep generative model. I brought together my skills in human-computer interaction, UX, web development, and machine learning to build a system for more collaborative music co-creation with DNN models. CrossRoad Optics provides advocacy groups and traffic engineers a more wholistic understanding of safety at traffic intersections.Our software platform helps automate traffic studies by tracking pedestrians, bikes, and cars in video.We’re running a traffic study near Porter Square in Somerville where there’s a demand to increase safety and access for bicyclists. Our metrics will help the neighborhood better understand how to create bike friendly roadways.As a co-founder, I have been responsible for generating leads with our first pilot customers who need affordable traffic studies conducted. As CTO, I am responsible for ensuring our analysis software produces accurate measurements and delivers informative data visualizations.
