At Lyons I am responsible for curating the bar menu, adding new cocktails to the menu, advising staff on the wine pairings, stock take and pre-batching ingredients for expected busy shifts.

Responsible for opening the pub on a daily basis, managing floor staff in the restaurant, stock takes, line cleaning, ad hoc events and recruitment of new staff.During the pandemic I moved home to be with family, where I got this job in my local village pub to help with the reopening after the third lockdown in England assisting navigating the constantly updating laws.

Promoted from casual holiday staff to Assistant Manager of a large team responsible for a busy pub, restaurant and bed & breakfast rooms. Daily duties included staff management, rotas, recruitment, stock control, customer service and bookings coordination.

During University Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays, I worked as a bartender and waiter in this pub and restaurant which also had a thriving daytime trade.
