What did you do yesterday that you can do better today? This is a question I ask myself every day. Analyzing and optimizing my performance in my everyday life and my career is important to me. Each morning provides me an opportunity to become a more successful version of myself that I intend to take.My innovative mindset also works for the betterment of my team. Being in the military certainly assisted me to extend my ambition to others within my circles. I'm more than willing to either help others analyze their own patterns, or share my own mistakes so that my team doesn't misstep where I once did. As much as I want to be successful, I want the same for others and do my best to help them become the best versions of themselves. Watching the development of others is exciting to me, because not only do I get to see those people grow, I also am afforded an opportunity to learn from their success.Learning and mastering new systems drives me. First encountering concepts like switch configuration, setting up DNS servers, and managing several VMs on a server stack were challenges faced early in my career that I met head on. As I move further in my career I anticipate greater challenges to overcome. I am proficient at leveraging the resources available to me to come up with a solution. I am not afraid to request help from others, ask for clearer guidance, or using some google-fu to develop my knowledge and find the tools for success.My passions for troubleshooting and learning, combined with my determination to overcome obstacles are incredibly useful to me as a system administrator. I want to refine and hone my skills to become a master of my craft, and provide my experience to others to assist them.
