After working almost 23 years in the aviation industry, I have gained experience in various roles all of which were achieved by promotions within British Airways. I am an individual with a strong desire to be successful and thrive on responsibility. Highly experienced in leading people, demanding high professional standards, total customer focus and goal achievement. I was selected to be a SME (subject matter expert) on a new computerized allocation system project. Something I had never been involved in previously, the system took 18 months to build and complete. During that period of time I had to deliver weekly reports on progress, issues but also providing solutions. putting together a full training package and delivering the training to a team of 20 colleagues, whilst meeting deadlines and staying within a strict budget.I represented the company and displayed their values throughout my career delivering exceptional customer service that was expected by our customers. Working in a fast paced diverse environment it was imperative to work confidently and efficiently with my colleagues and customers, completing multiple tasks on a daily basis, being a key player in achieving goals, conflict resolution, resource planning and management. Identifying potential issues and the risks early that could impact the operation at Gatwick, determine the best action to evade disruption. cascade information and ideas to relevant departments to avoid the negative effect on the scheduled program of the fleet, therefore ensuring the customers experience a seamless journey from start to finish.
