I have specialised in various individual, team and organisational interventions as well as psycho-legal assessment, whilst lecturing to Honours and Masters-students focusing on psychological assessment, coaching and professional ethics. I am able to conduct psychometric assessments for the purposes of selection and development in order to assist organisations in obtaining effective workforce- and business alignment. I have a keen interest in developing and empowering the strategic human resource capability of organisations in order to enable human-capital investment actualisation. In conjunction with the above, I offer coaching-services if it is deemed to be an appropriate intervention to the presenting issues. Apart from the practice-activities I believe in giving back to society, and serve as a facilitator and presenter for SIOPSA, specifically focusing on the development of Industrial and Organisational Psychologist Interns. I am also open to provide assistance to interns when contacted with a network of like-minded Industrial Psychologists to ensure that we provide support to the various obstacle they face when working towards qualifying as an Industrial Psychologist. I conduct these consultations on a pro-bono basis.

As an Associate of JOA, I performed a consultative role through specialising in the psychometric assessment and development strategies for multiple clients across various industries during recruitment, selection and redeployment business decisions. Whilst working in this capacity, the role was expanded to further provide coaching for young emerging talent, which was supervised by Executive Coaches during this period, to facilitate individual growth in further education settings. At JOA, further research activities were completed upon client-requests, in order to understand team-composition and expected 'fall-outs' and 'growth-points' whilst effective development interventions were promoted as part of the planning when managing diverse teams . From a Corporate Social Responsibility perspective, our research-activities specifically focused on emerging Industrial and Organisational Psychologist's experience of their internships with the intention of engaging appropriate stakeholders to create a more meaningful learning process. The findings were presented at the JvR People Development in Africa Conference in 2017 as well as at the University of Pretoria in 2017 and 2018 in order to raise further awareness of Intern Industrial and Organisational Psychologist's experiences utilising dual qualitative methods. I currently still assist JOA in a consultative capacity upon request.

I completed my Industrial and Organisational Psychology internship at the University of Pretoria. The Internship focussed on equipping and supporting the Department of Student Affairs, Human Resource Management and Faculty of Human Resource Management with applied industrial psychology practices. I functioned as an internal consultant within the University of Pretoria and designed performance management assessments, leadership development interventions as well as facilitated student development programmes with staff and students to build student leadership relations.

Within this position, lectured the majority of Human Resource Diploma to first, and second and third year students within the Menlyn Campus. This included preparing daily lesson plans; preparing class presentations as well as preparing and administrating all test and examination material. I also conducted programme reviews for each of my modules at the end of each semester. This particular position also required that all HR students network with possible stakeholders who can provide internships, to create a ‘practical bridge’ between theory and practice. In addition to my role as a Lecturer, I also placed my students within the industry to ensure that they become an employable asset – which involved assisting the mentor with the mentorship role whilst they are placed.

I have been employed by the University of Pretoria as a Part Time Lecturer for the first year course of Industrial Psychology. The duties of this role include preparing the course information into presentations for lectures, presenting the lecture and also being prepared to answer and assist any student enquiries that may follow during and after class. In addition I also assist in test preparation and setting as well as the marking of tests. My contract has also been extended by the University to complete the second semester within a different subject presented by the Human Resources department, for which I will assist in specifically teaching to Afrikaans students

I originally worked together with Theo for Dr. Pretorius, however after I had completed my honours degree I returned as an Psycho-legal Integrator and was specifically contracted by Theo. My duties included integrating all the files assigned to me, and also conducting follow-up collateral interviews with a claimant’s employer, to confirm the impact the accident under question might have had on his/her career.

During 2009 until now I have completed a BCom in human Resources Management; an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology; and I am currently completing my Masters within Industrial Psychology at the University of Pretoria!

At O2, I enjoyed a Customer service role which focussed on delivering world class service. This role empowered me to be diverse in resolving customer complaints and communication with the other departments of O2, also I completing any ad hoc duties. O2 also provided me to monitor my performance, and gave me the freedom to set up methods for myself, and to share this with the team to continuously improve on my role with them
