NOVEMBER 2022 - Permanent ongoing Octopus energy services MARCH 2022 – Egg (Formerly ‘The Phoenix Works’) Working as an EV charging installation Electrician, my day-to-day duties mainly involved attending customer’s homes to install Electric Vehicle chargers.As part of my role, there was a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and ensuring their expectations were exceed at every possible moment. With a focus on quality, every installation had to meet the specific criteria given within the EV charging regulations and more recently the Smart Charging Regulations 2021. As part of the installation, I carried out all mandatory testing pre, and post-installation to always ensure electrical safety, working in accordance with safe working practices, formal training, and industry guidance. Electrical installation certificates were produced for each installation and images provided to the internal Qualified Supervisors for internal audit. During my short time with Egg, my confidence working alone has grown exponentially and thrive in an environment where I am able to manage my entire day. This hasn’t gone unnoticed with great feedback being received from customers, members of staff and invited to take part in a promotional video showcasing the work between Egg and one of our partner companies. I’ve worked within construction industry for over 12 years with an understanding and knowledge of Health and Safety, with experience working in all conditions and willing to work the hours required to complete the tasks. AK CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE LTD Established in 2009 as a family business, my role included liaising with customers throughout their works, which could range from 1-day to larger projects spanning numerous weeks. As part of this role, I dealt with invoicing, quoting, on-site progress checks and 3rd party contractor coordination.
