Recruitment, set up and coordination of the Scheme Administrator Interim Steering Group for packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

Delivery team and Project Management Office (PMO) support for packaging EPR in Collection & Packaging Reforms, specialising in risk management and milestone tracking. I developed excellent secretariat skills for smooth planning and running of senior and external meetings, including providing logistical support with catering and travel, as needed for organising workshops, webinars, and team days; I enjoyed leading on the organising, minuting and follow-up of actions. I helped manage work flow across the team, supported the team in financial transactions and administration (e.g. payment for external venues), and was the lead on wellbeing for the Division.

I implemented appropriate, sustainable, cost effective and efficient waste and recycling services for UK businesses. This includes roll-out (mobilisation), large scale change, and close-down.

Managing a large database of commercial waste customers - sales, customer service, marketing, operational responsibilities, manual staff supervision. Rolled out an entirely new recycling scheme for 600+ customers over a 6 month period.

This role was developed from the position of Recycling Officer, but with more responsibilities. I was involved in a wider remit, not just domestic recycling schemes, but had some operational experience and recommendation roles in fly-tipping and abandoned cars. It was also a role in which more strategising, communications monitoring and budgeting was expected of me.

Coordinating, planning, organising environmental projects with large groups of 17-24 year olds.

I had two main roles here:1. Waste Collection Supervisor to a large team (mixed ages, experience and job roles - bulky waste, clinicals, yard man, neighbourhood recycling).2. Projects development and communications assist to Recycling Officer. For example, I led on the '360 litre bin audit' project, and assisted with the roll-out of WEEE and food waste collections Cherwell-wide.

I was responsible for internal and external communications on a waste minimisation, home composting, recycling and Real Nappy theme. I ran events like 'Swap Shops' and compost giveaways, held a competition to find the 'greenest family' in South Northants, produced leaflets for direct mail opportunities, ran a doorstepping campaign, among other things.

Niagara Clean Air is a leading direct sales distributor of various air and water treatment applications within the Niagara Region.Promoted to trainer after 2 months of working in the field, I took on responsibility of on-boarding new Air Quality Testers, while still doing the fieldwork as well.
