After the 2 year course and gaining NVQ levels 2 and 3 in both Travel and Customer Services I was offered a permanent opportunity within the Rotherham Branch as a Sales Consultant. This involved meeting challenging targets by matching individuals, groups, couples and families holiday and travel requirements. I was also responsible for working in the Foreign Exchange department (which at the time was pre Euro) therefore involved cashiering duties as well as having excellent product knowledge of specialist currencies etc.I was then promoted to Customer Services Manager which involved all of the above plus staff training and management.
