Monthly publication produced by Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) that covers sheetmetal stamping and fabricating while boasting 60,000 readers. Organized magazine layout and editorial direction, and managed contributing authors and columnists. Wrote multiple feature-length (1,000-3,000 words) technical articles each month and provided content for magazine departments. Coordinated and solicited submissions from industry experts, including metalformers and suppliers, and edited submitted articles to meet magazine style and length requirements. Authored a monthly column from 2000 to 2009. Provided project management for revenue-generating products such as newsletters, websites and informational CD-ROMs. Tasks in this area included budgeting, writing, design and layout, and management of contributors. Chose speakers for technical conferences as member of PMA Conference Committee, developed conference content and served as conference moderator. Developed and implemented marketing programs for various magazine products. Updated second and third editions of Design Guidelines, a PMA book tailored to those designing and specifying sheetmetal parts. Served on Design Guidelines Committee with duties including chairing conference calls and providing technical and editorial expertise. Exhibited proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, with experience in various print- and web-publishing software programs. Also served as an internal ISO 9001:2000 auditor and as a member of the association's style team that ensured consistency and proper presentation of all communications.
