Monthly publication produced by Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) that covers sheetmetal stamping and fabricating while boasting 60,000 readers. Organized magazine layout and editorial direction, and managed contributing authors and columnists. Wrote multiple feature-length (1,000-3,000 words) technical articles each month and provided content for magazine departments. Coordinated and solicited submissions from industry experts, including metalformers and suppliers, and edited submitted articles to meet magazine style and length requirements. Authored a monthly column from 2000 to 2009. Forging magazine, a bi-monthly publication with a circulation of 6,000 serving the forging industry in North America.* Planned and managed Forging magazine's evolution from a quarterly print publication to a successful bi-monthly.* Coordinated the redesign of Forging's website and pioneered the online magazine, and worked with the sales staff to increase online advertising. As a result, Forging's website was transformed from a loss property to a profit generator. Began cross-promoting the website through the print publication, resulting in tripling of monthly web visits.* Through better cost-control and increased communication with sales staff, Forging contributed more than 30 percent of revenue to corporate bottom line.* Coordinated the successful redesign of Forging's print publication.* Established close working relationship with the Forging Industry Association, thus creating a barrier to entry for other publications in the marketplace.* Introduced a number of new website and print advertorial and editorial departments, increasing value to readership and advertisers alike.* Two-time session chairman for Precision Forging Conference.
