"Success is waking up every morning feeling excited for the day ahead." This quote was given by a well-respected lecturer and has stuck with me ever since. My career in corporate security, internship stints, and overseas experience have always been centered on a global outlook, exposing me to different cultures spanning all six continents. They have also provided me with valuable insights in open-source intelligence, specifically geopolitics, climate change and natural disasters, as well as health, travel, and information security, while honing my professional and people-to-people skills. In the academic research field, I possess a deep interest in the dynamic Asia-Pacific region, especially the geopolitical and socio-economic situation in East Asia and Greater China, along with Cross-Taiwan Strait Relations. I also hope to further delve into regional territorial disputes and dispute management strategies.
