I currently manage the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the First Source Hiring Program Non-construction (FSHP). The primary goal of FSHP is to ensure that First Source employers are incompliance with the requirements of the First Source Hiring Ordinance, Chapter 83 of the San Francisco Administrative Code and that job seekers in OEWD's workforce referral network are hired by employers. * Manage a team of three Specialists (3) to ensure that employers are informed of the ordinance requirements and are incompliance * Manage the team in collaborating with OEWD grantees through OEWD’s database the WorkforceLinkSF to ensure a pipeline of jobseekers to connect with employers * Connect employers to jobseekers by managing business introductions and hiring events. * Leverage data from the WorkforceLinkSF to improve the FSHP. * 1, 612 placements for FY2022-2023In Workforce Development, I have led Early Warning Network, Layoff Aversion, Business Retention & Expansion, Entrepreneurial Training, and Rapid Response programs. I have represented the American Job Center at chamber of commerce events, before governmental agencies, community -based organizations, and community colleges. I have led job fairs, career fairs and on-site recruitments at the Job Center. I have been part of development/fundraising teams to secure foundation and government grants for the Job Center. I have supervised job developers and employer relations specialists at the Job Center and at the development/ commerce corporations where I worked.Formerly, I was a Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) professional in the City of Oakland and managed all outreach, organizing, and service delivery in the areas of safety and security, regulatory assistance, infrastructure planning and zoning to Oakland's industrial businesses. For twelve years, I managed BRE and community-based workforce development programs in the City of Chicago. I helped to designate two Industrial Tax Increment Finance Districts and three Planned Manufacturing Districts.
