About Matthew Lowe

Coupling my financial experience in some of New York's biggest hospitals with my customer service and management background cultivated in the busy world of the NY theater has made me a well rounded asset for any team.As a Financial Aide at NY Presbyterian Hospital, I am tasked with managing the purchasing and payment needs for the busy (and consistently top-ranked) Urology Department. I am responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory spanning over 3 dozen individual, research, and grant accounts. I am also responsible for Accounts Payable duties including payment, allocation, and reconciliation of incoming invoices. Additionally, I process bi-weekly payroll for a staff of 85, including absence and over-time tracking. Other duties include processing transfers of funds, allocating expenses and reconciling monthly reports and statements, and generating ad-hoc reports.During my tenure Off-Broadway, I picked up the day-to-day management-from staffing to facilities- of some of NY’s busiest spaces. This taught me the importance of good customer service, both with regards to customers and vendors. For the past four holiday seasons, at Macy's of Herald Square's famous Santaland I've been fortunate to have a role in ensuring that our guests (upwards of 10,000 a day!) have a smooth and enjoyable experience--plus a bit of magic. Through this, I've learned to thrive and think fast in a quick-paced environment.
