The Manufacturing Alliance Transformation Office (MATO) is a national initiative led by the Singapore Manufacturing Federation to assist local manufacturers in upgrading their production capabilities with Government Assistance.As the MATO Marketing Executive, I connected with local manufactures through e-newsletters and webinars, helping them become future-proof by digitising their manufacturing processes. We also worked with PSG-Approved solution providers, to educate local manufacturers on IoT/Industry 4.0 solutions and the government support schemes available to aid them in their digitalisation journey.

PaceSetters Organisation (PSO) is a subsidiary of Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (PACS). The agency provides consultative services to help clients with long-term financial planning. I created effective marketing campaigns and meaningful lifestyle content for leads generation and client engagement. One of my significant achievements in PSO was launching the Qpage community, a closed Facebook community with over 1,000 members, comprising of the agency’s clients. This was launched at the start of Covid-19 to allow agents to stay digitally connected with their clients, especially when client engagement had to strategically pivot online during the peak of the pandemic. I leveraged various trends to create short form content to connect with the community, and encouraged members to start conversations on the platform by hosting a series of contests, promotions and livestream sessions with agency leaders. I ran two instagram accounts for the company: the company's official Instagram page @teampso_ , where I shoot, edit and design the content to be posted. The second account I helmed was @QpageSG, PSO’s lifestyle & client engagement handle. Here, I create relatable content for QTalks, a talkshow series where agents share their experiences and expertise on topics related to financial planning. Additionally, I curated content for 2 other company-owned Facebook pages for leads generation purposes. I occasionally created short videos, landing pages and graphics for Facebook ads. I also assist in administrative duties such as designing surveys, powerpoint slides and eDMs. Well versed in Adobe Creative Cloud, I also double up as a photographer and videographer (including post production) for company events.

I had the opportunity to co-host the Mandarin radio show, <欢乐星期五> (Happy Friday) on Radio Heatwave. We bring to listeners the latest entertainment news from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea.My co-hosts and I developed two new segments for the show. 1. <老歌新唱> (Oldies, revamped!)This was a music exploration segment, where we curated a selection of classic mandarin songs from the 70s & 80s that have been re-arranged and performed by pop singers. The intention is for us to explore how music has changed from past to present. We were marvelled by how songs recorded in the past can be completely transformed by applying new musical techniques, arrangements and styles, and had fun sharing our insights with our listeners. 2. <金典老歌新学堂> (Old But Gold):In this segment, we took listeners on a journey back in time to learn about timeless classics that made an impact on the Chinese pop industry. Here, we encourage listeners to expand their playlists by sharing the stories behind old songs that may be lesser known to Gen Z’s. My stint at Radio Heatwave helped me to become a more confident and expressive speaker and gave me the opportunity to practice and hone my presentation skills in Mandarin.
