With more than 20 years of managing a large portfolio of clients (both private and public listed companies) and stakeholders in the accountancy sector, Ying Yih lives out the value of service excellence and trust in her daily work. She has led projects with cross functional teams on policies formulation, strategic planning, stakeholder relationship management, and business transformation.Ying Yih works closely with her clients in understanding their challenges, pain points and needs. She partners her clients to meet their business objectives, co-create relevant solutions, and journeys with them to project manage various transformational projects. Ying Yih began her career as a financial auditor after graduating from NTU. For more than 15 years, she project-managed large scale annual audits of MNCs, and public listed companies with world-wide operations. This also included her being the lead senior manager in initial public offerings of listed REIT and group of companies in Singapore. Prior to joining Capelle in August 2021, Ying Yih was Head of Department with a government agency for 5 years, where she led her team on a multi-year project to transform the national exams from paper-based to cloud-based. This allowed exam candidates to take their accountancy qualification exams in the convenience and safety of their own homes especially during the pandemic locked-down period. During her tenure at this agency, she had also led her team to achieve mutual recognition of professional qualifications for Singapore with England and Wales. Ireland, and Australia.Since May 2023, she has graduated with Merit from the RISE 2.0 Digital Transformation and Change Management course with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). She looks forward to combine her new learning at BCG with her experience from previous careers to pursue a role as a digital transformation and change management consultant/specialist.
