Lauer Power Consulting provides guidance to aspiring and experienced teachers, aspiring and experienced principals, and other school administrators. Topics include but are not limited to: building a school culture, networking, communication, planning and organization, school leadership, working with parents, building organizations, connecting with students, classroom discipline, meeting individual student needs, and teaching strategies. Services are provided by David Lauer who brings to the table a wide range of experience and expertise. Upon understanding the challenges the clients face, an individual approach is developed and delivered to meet specific goals. Services will be provided behind the scenes or "out front" depending on the needs of the client and may be provided on an individual, small group or large group basis. A special emphasis is on working with undergraduate or graduate level college students who are considering a career in education.

Served as principal and instructional leader of the only high school in the county. The school offers comprehensive curriculum and is recognized for outstanding academic, athletic, and vocational programs. Earned Commissioner's Outstanding Principals's Award in 1991. Selected as Florida Principal of the Year in 1992. Recognized as Outstanding Educator by the University of Florida in December, 1992.
