I am a new member of the medical sales team at Howard Technology Solutions. I have a keen interest in improving patient care across all fields of healthcare via providing facilities with the most up to date medical technology that is economically suitable.I completed a Master's degree in behavioral and cognitive neuroscience from the University of Florida; where I worked on many grants from the Department of Defense and others with aims to prevent cocaine relapse from a pharmacological approach. Previously, I graduated from Mississippi State University in May 2016 with a BS in psychology and a minor in chemistry with a concentration in cognitive psychology and pre-medical studies. During my undergraduate career, I was a researcher in a memory and metamemory lab where I received my own grant, completing an undergraduate thesis based on improvements in eyewitness memory using saccade induced retrieval enhancement, specifically to reduce cross race bias. I was also a research assistant in Dr. Todd Mlsna's analytical chemistry lab. As a research assistant in the chemistry department at MSU I worked on the development of accurate on-site THC testing with a portable HPLC; which first sparked my interest in medical device technology. The overarching theme across all of my endeavors has consistently been to improve extant technology, procedures and protocols for patients and users alike. My background has given me a thorough understanding of medical technology, and I am eager to deliver the best products to you while working for a family-owned billion dollar company that has been serving it's community for over 50 years!
