Oversee and manage SMS activities, departmental budgets, and ensure the timely and accurate preparation and distribution of operational performance reports, AD/SB accomplishment. Participate in CAS Board and function as Chairperson of the MEL Steering Committee.

I provided department vision and strategy to satisfy business needs of the airline through the design, implementation and management of all aircraft capital improvement programs from concept and development, including vendor selection and audit, logistics management, and configuration control achieving flawless §121 post-modification return-to-service. Included systems include: EFIS, HF/VHF Com, flight data recorders, RVSM air data equipment, Aux Nav GPS and FMS systems. I led the department in achieving airworthiness and dispatch reliability for up to 34 internationally dispatched transport category §25 aircraft. My Selected Achievements include:♦ Administered annual capital improvement budgets of $250M+ and payroll-redacted departmental budgets of $500K+.♦ Harnessed understanding of organizational functions and employed management expertise in presenting change proposals for operational manuals important to business operations and in compliance with Federal Airworthiness Regulations (FARs).♦ Introduced “All Together Improvement” concept during release of new airline livery for aircraft during a highly profitable period resulting in business unit offsetting losses within global Brinks organization.♦ Conferred RII and Return-to-Service authorizations under company's FAA Approved general GMM/TPPM program.

I directly contributed to and supervised junior technicians in work center operations involving avionics, radio and electronic sensors, systems / electrical, cable / harness design, repair and modification. I generated various reports that supported FAA STC certification projects to include system substantiation, safety assessments, and electrical load analysis. I also evaluated and approved prepared data packages and gathered required materials for submittals to government agencies, operators, inspectors, and FAA design and airworthiness representatives. My Selected Achievements include:♦ Delivered quality inspection approval authority proficiencies for all modification data structural and electrical interface packages for modification of host aircraft systems in fixed wing aircraft smoke detection / suppression, auxiliary, and mission systems.

In this role, I performed concurrent duties as an Avionics and Electrical Shop NCOIC and as an aerial observer – combat door gunner on CH-53E. I directed a 22-member team in the daily maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes for communication, navigation, and electronic airframe systems that guaranteed dispatch reliability, combat and mission readiness in alignment with all operational objectives. While in this position, I envisioned and implemented computer-based inventory controls and established cross-the-board standard procedural processes. My Selected Achievements include:♦ Achieved Special Operations Capable (SOC) qualifications with collateral duties supporting MEU(SOC) as 0251. Enabled performance of Air Combat Element (ACE) close air support, insertions, and extractions, show of force, VIP and dignitary transport and security operations, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance actions.
