E-Commerce lead responsible for developing business model to support site specific commerce offerings for 600+ websites on Rivals Network (Including 29 Rivals’ Team Stores and approximately 120 Rivals Publisher Stores.). Member of leadership team and one of five direct reports to company president. Managed the following E-Commerce teams: Marketing, Merchandising, Production, Fulfillment and Client Relations. Improved gross revenue figures from $220,000 in 1999 to $1,710,000 in 2000. Exceeded Q1, 2001 projected gross revenue figures by $130,000 (Projected 2001 gross revenue = $3,900,000). Brought E-Commerce Group to profitability by Q4, 2000. Maintained Director of Operations responsibilities (see previous position).Additional Responsibilities: Created “Hot Market” advertising campaigns across Rivals Network, developed site specific “Commerce Module” and implemented permission based marketing program. Developed commerce features to drive additional sales such as: related items, e-mail registration and best sellers modules. Developed search engine optimization, vendor sponsorship and affiliate programs. Implemented “contextual commerce” plan allowing relevant products offerings to be imbedded in website articles. Built off-line marketing program (POP displays, e-mail collection programs, collateral marketing materials, “tagging” of store bags, print publications, radio advertisements, etc.) to drive “brick and mortar” traffic to team websites.
