I analyze Commercial Real Estate Leases for companies worldwide and abstract critical information into a Real Estate Asset Management cloud software (AMTDirect) for use by Real Estate Managers to manage and evaluate their real estate portfolios. This information includes rent, percentage rent, CPI rent, common area maintenance, operating expenses, real estate taxes, insurance, extended renewal options, and other data critical to the management of real estate and leases.

Assisted my daughter-in-law's accounting practice during tax season. I learned Quick Books Enterprise Edition software and set up small companies in Quick Books to capture their Financial Statements for tax purposes. I continue to assist the company from time to time as needed.

Accounting Leader. Managed and provided oversight in GAAP principles including general ledger, accounts receivable (Order to cash), accounts payable (Procure to pay), fixed assets, bank account reconciliations, Municipal and Personal Property taxes, Abandoned Property/Unclaimed Property, and income, asset, and liability statements. Used SAP FICO and CD modules. Tax Management. Managed Municipal Premium Taxes, Personal Property Taxes, and Abandoned Property/Unclaimed Property reporting, for the Allstate Enterprise. Responsible for oversight and full compliance of all state and local rules and regulations for these taxes including state audits and appeals. Researched, funded, and implemented all applicable Tax and Property software.Bank Relations Management. Managed collaboration amongst accounting, banking, and treasury professionals in all phases of banking products, websites, security, services, and accounts.Project Management. Identified, designed, and promoted complex cross-functional performance initiatives internal to technology or the supported business through all IT project life cycles. Utilized a unique combination of accounting expertise and keen understanding of IT capabilities to remove million dollar costs from operating expenses. Document Management. Created and managed database infrastructure for millions of bank check disbursement, bank “returned check”, and tax record images for search and retrieval for the entire enterprise. Proficient in Technical Writing principles, strategies, reports, manuals, documentation, business requirements, and definitions.

Start-up accounting leader, in conjunction with Data Center management, analyzed and assessed Data Center educational requirements. Responsible for recommendations and development of education programs to fulfill these requirements. Coach and mentor for leaders and associates.Successfully partnered with other Accounting and Information Technology professionals to create the inaugural off-site Education Center for the first Data Center. Created the initial infrastructure and logistical design. Studied Instructional Design and became fluent in researching, developing, designing, writing, and presenting adult education programs.

Accounting Leader and SME, provided oversight for all Regional Operation Center (ROC) Accounting functions. Accountable for optimizing all accounting processes in preparation for consolidating 5 ROCs into the 1st of 3 Data Centers countrywide. Converted all accounts receivable media from microfilm to imaged-based functionality. Collaborated with Unisys, J & B Software, IT, and Treasury to construct new media transports fully equipped with state-of-the-art image cameras. Tested and implemented components to handle hundreds of thousands of transactions and millions of dollars a day in receivables with outstanding quality. Converted all physical checks to electronic transactions (ACH) and created electronic transmissions to the bank through Image Cash Letters (ICL). Tremendous expense savings and funds availability were realized. Served as essential accounting SME on a team challenged with consolidating 5 Eastern seaboard regional offices into the first of three Allstate Data Centers throughout the United States. Accounting and Information Technology functions were migrated over 4 years in to the Charlotte location. Office closures and knowledge transfer were the responsibility of this team. Experiences from this consolidation were used in subsequent Data Center migrations
