Growing up in McCall, Idaho instilled a sense of exploration and curiosity that led me to join the United States Navy after graduating from High School. I was a surveyor / draftsman in the Seabees and spent 7 years serving our country. After separating from the military my family and I moved back to Boise and I spent two years working at Micron Technology. I accepted a surveying position with a local engineering firm in 1998 and after gaining experience in private, corporate and federal surveying positions I became licensed in 2007. I took college classes from six different universities and graduated with an Associates in Arts from Chaminade University of Honolulu in 1996, a Bachelor of Science in Management and Business Information Systems, from George Fox University in 2004, and a Master of Business Administration from George Fox University in 2006. I have been fortunate to travel the country and field survey sites in more than 38 States. In 2020 I accepted a position as the survey manager for Forsgren Associates, Inc.'s Boise office and have aspired to build a survey department where our staff enjoys coming to work and can reach for goals beyond the position they are hired for.
