I managed programs to increase consumption of local produce in schools, including both direct education in the classroom and food service technical assistance for school lunch programs throughout Santa Clara County. From 2009 - 2010, my role was a service position through the Silicon Valley HealthCorps Americorps program.Responsibilities:- Managed logistics and execution of ~35 events in classrooms and on farms annually- Cultivated cross-sector relationships between farmers, organizations, vendors, and schools- Managed CAFF’s South Bay event promotion, project budgets, and program assets- Recruited and trained 16 volunteers, interns, and AmeriCorps members- Completed project evaluation, data analysis, and grant reporting
