About Lisa Shields
Lisa Shields is a veteran strategic communications professional experienced in international media relations, digital marketing, crisis communications, individual and institutional brand building, messaging, and media training. Prior to joining CFR, Shields worked as a journalist and editorial producer for ABC News, Thirteen/WNET, and the A&E Network. She earned her BA in international affairs from the American University of Paris and her MS from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. She is a lifetime member of CFR and serves on the board of directors for Network 20/20, has served on the advisory board for the International Peace Institute's program on Women, Peace & Security, and on American Ballet Theater's marketing task force highlighting women choreographers.
