Looking back over 30+ years of professional experience the one phrase that comes to mind and captures the essence of my service is Creative Connector. My superpower is to observe many moving detailed points, intuitively understand how they connect, move and impact each other, and creatively bring clarity and order into confusion through systematization and organization. My personal motto is to Boldly go...My main skills are executive and business administration. Cast me a compelling vision, give me some resources and authority and I'll do my very best to get you there. I don't know anything better than the thrill of a job well done and a creating something out of nothing. My soul runs on collaborative relationship so I'm all about the team, about high support and high challenge, and growing as a person and a leader and empowering others to do the same.I'm very proud of my achievements at Community Health Center, a federally-approved community health center with over 20 (now) medical, dental, behavioral, mobile and school-based healthcare sites in the State of CT. I supported the CEO & VP/Clinical Director, the additional site admins and assistants and many other departments, including the Board of Directors. I also managed the complex monthly site-wide staff meetings and assisted in many projects including the credentialing and launch of a new site, CHC's centennial celebration, implementation of a new EMR and site-wide phone system, Joint Commission audit and meetings with the state legislature. I'm particularly proud of the team I led that planned and executed the inaugural Weitzman Symposium, a medical conclave that brought pioneering and cutting edge research and tech together to improve health outcomes. I feel very proud that the symposium's success led to the founding of the Weitzman Institution a number of years later.I'm also very proud of the work I did at All Things New Health & Wellness. I founded this health & wellness practice out of the inspiration I found at CHC and supporting the medical office of Total Health Solutions. I have a strong entrepreneurial and leadership calling and wanted to impact the health and lives of women in my community. Founding and building this enterprise was one of the best and hardest experiences of my life and career, but I brought the vision to fruition by learning the systems I needed to create to effectively run and grow the practice. My executive and administrative skills and experience were crucial in this endeavor.
