I am also responsible of controlling the activities of safety, health, hygiene and occupational quality, establishing policies and standards, developing plans and programs, supervising the execution of processes, to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of accident prevention operations.I also must:• Ensure that all personnel comply with the high standards of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality. • Provide advice on all aspects of Safety and Quality Management Systems (SMS / SGC) to senior management. • Develop and help implement new safety and quality initiatives, including the general responsibility to ensure that local operations are maintained with all relevant codes (ISM / ISO), regulations and rules recommended by the authorities. • Advise and assist in the preparation of new safety and quality documents, internal audit programs, management reviews, etc. • Establish a strong safety culture and maintain a leadership role with operational personnel and local crews and foreign operations. • Implementation of the existing security and quality programs of SVITZER for new acquisitions of companies. • Mitigate and manage all investigations of incidents, insurance claims and important local non- conformities. • Keep the Regional Management informed of any development, strategy and important matter of HSEQ Department (Health Safety Environmental Quality). • Preparation and maintenance of documentation for regional maritime contracts • Monthly report of local operational matters • Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.
