Retired Director General of the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) of the Indian Army with over 45 years of varied experience in the fields of technology, management and education. Professional experience spans across manufacturing & recapitalization, setting up joint ventures, undertaking modernization programs, maintenance & logistics of Army equipment, engineering education & training and CSR initiatives. As the Director General of EME, I strategized the long term vision to provide quality engineering support for the Army’s vast inventory of equipment and weapon systems, managed a highly skilled workforce of 1,000, 000 and was responsible for financial management of over Rs. 4,000 crores. I have been associated with the corporate world extensively both while in service as well as subsequently post retirement. My most recent experiences include providing management and technical advice to Tata Motors Ltd on various defense technologies, advisory role with M/s Pyare Lal and Sons and Lead assessor with M/s Thomas International and recently with M/s Jombay. I also led the prestigious Delhi Gymkhana Club as its President for two years. Currently I am working as a member of the Governing Body of Shivaji College, Delhi University in an honorary capacity.
