In my role as a Quantity Surveyor at Peking University Shougang Hospital's Infrastructure Department, I was deeply involved in overseeing the financial aspects of major construction projects. I managed the preparation and submission of detailed cost reports, ensuring that all financial documentation was meticulously aligned with both project specifications and client requirements. My expertise in evaluating contractor bids and proposals allowed me to provide management with well-informed recommendations based on thorough cost-benefit analyses.Throughout the construction process, I monitored ongoing activities to ensure strict adherence to budgetary constraints and contractual terms, promptly addressing any discrepancies that arose. I worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate cost control measures into project timelines, optimising resource utilisation and minimising financial risk. Additionally, I developed and maintained comprehensive project budgets, which included forecasting future expenditures and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.One of my key achievements was leading the financial and budgetary oversight for a substantial 55,727㎡, 15-storey emergency medical building project, which involved a 600 million RMB investment. I supported the department director in managing all phases of the project, from bidding and construction management to final completion and acceptance. My role also included directing comprehensive budget reviews and capital plan development to ensure financial alignment with the project’s goals. Furthermore, I coordinated construction planning activities, integrating cost control measures and optimising resource allocation, and oversaw project settlement processes, conducting detailed drawing reviews to facilitate a successful project closeout.

During my internship at Beijing Zhonglian Tiansheng Construction Engineering, I managed the timeline and milestones for the Ancient City Community Indoor and Outdoor Pipeline Renovation project, valued at $4,000. My role involved ensuring that all activities adhered to the six-month schedule and addressing any deviations promptly to maintain project flow. I conducted comprehensive site evaluations at the project's outset, performing detailed research and risk assessments to support effective planning. I supervised the execution of contracts, closely monitoring compliance with agreed terms and ensuring that resources were allocated efficiently throughout the project's duration. Additionally, I monitored and controlled project costs by implementing cost control measures and evaluating financial performance to ensure alignment with the project's budget and financial goals. I also directed the management of labor resources, overseeing workforce allocation and productivity across the renovation sites, which enhanced overall efficiency and helped ensure that project milestones were successfully achieved.
