Lua Garo (she/they), a Spanish 3D Sculptor and Character Designer based in the UK, working in the collectible, miniature and toy industry since 2015. With studies in Illustration, natural drawing and 3D, they found out a passion in Traditional sculpting that later evolved into digital mediums. Current Senior Sculptor for several brands, they’ve worked from original designs, concept art and known IPs like Zombicide, Narcos, DC Batman, Luis Royo Malefic Times...From sketching, engineering for printing and casting, leading other sculptors, to guiding as a consultant... they’re experienced in developing consumer products of different kinds, collectible figures for painters, toys, dolls, art toys and tabletop game miniatures among others.They are specialized in high poly using Zbrush with a passion in portraits, creatures, dynamism, anatomy and character design in general. Always loving to create new characters in different worlds, such as urban sci-fi and classic fantasy with some twists. There isn’t any challenge they can’t bring to life.Creator of an independent and ongoing Ball Jointed Doll brand for collectors, with unique personal designs, that started as a humble painter in the hobby in 2009.
