This was a dual role, where my responsibilities include the ability to change from one focus to another quickly and effectively. My accounting assistant duties include moderate proficiency with QuickBooks to enter and track bills, sending and receiving payments, performing monthly account banking reconciliations, payroll processing duties, and ledger development.My instructor duties include developing math related lesson plans and making necessary adjustments regularly to suit the needs of students, instructing using various methods for students to achieve their goals, as well as being a social justice advocate with strong leadership skills to develop strong relationships with students.

As an employee at spangles, my skills allowed me to quickly progress to management, where I was responsible to manage recruit and train crew members, maintain efficiency of production and quality assurance, as well as provide excellent customer service and address customer complaints effectively. It was also my duty to monitor cash inflow, record and take deposits to the bank regularly, open and close the store as needed, and log write ups as needed.

Responsible for data entry of all trucks, including logs for entry and departure and regular statistic reports. Filing reports as needed when issues occur, as well as ensuring the perimeter is secure, and deescalating situations with disgruntled employees or visitors, and escorting them out as needed

Responsible for checking shelves and stocking everything that is low or empty in a quick and efficient manner, as well as assisting customers with their needs in finding anything. I also assist with unloading trucks and organizing the back stock room with pallet jacks or by assisting the forklift operator.

As an accounting assistant I was responsible for helping to create, maintain, and examine financial records. I also helped with sales and make marketing calls to potential customers and leads. I maintained a professional relationship with clients and assisted in their needs as well as maintained their accounts. I would average projected numbers and estimate pricing based off of past data and communicate with clients in order to make contracts and agreements for service. I also would negotiate prices with vendors and come to contracts and agreements with them.

Responsible for answering phone calls to assist customers with their account needs and delivering excellent customer service, dealing with delicate information, including payment processing. I had to know how to deescalate hard situations and come to an understanding with customers. I also would sell and upsell customers when possible and communicate with customers via Fax, Email, Telephone, as well as send out professional letters for anything that may be needed by the customer or from the customer including itemized statements, and ledgers.

Responsibilities included monitoring and maintaining cleanliness of store inside and out, the ability to be self motivated, working with little to no supervision, and appropriately using heavy machinery as needed to condense and transport bricks of recyclable materials, dealing with potentially hazardous chemicals, and using proper personal protective equipment.

At the highest tier available on the sales floor, I was responsible for answering inbound calls from our most prestigious guests, Developing and maintaining performance statistics, as well as quoting prices, availability, cross selling and up selling customers and securing bookings. I also assisted the customers in servicing existing bookings and making changes to the reservation, accepting and recording payments and assisting travel partners with assisting guest arrangements. I coached a crew of up to 15 people and was able to train them and help them become more efficient in their tasks so they could use the skills I taught them to advance in their careers. I also used great computing skills to send emails, fabricate letters, and take phone calls with clients.

Responsible helping customers and their needs, serving customers as well as checking and maintaining inventory audits to insure that we had everything we needed and place orders for anything we were low on or needing. I also prepared the store for the next day.
