The Kansas School for Effective Learning (KANSEL) is an organization that creates and fosters generational change through education, extending beyond our students and reaching deep within the roots of our community. KANSEL gives a hand up and raises every student higher who completes one of our programs, allowing them to gain pride and be set free of restraints that once kept them and their families from reaching their potential.
KANSEL began in 1989 with the mission to provide basic skills training to meet the changing educational requirements of the workplace.
Today KANSEL provides High School Diploma Preparation, English for Speakers of Languages (ESL), math camps and classes, workforce skills training and a diverse range of literacy programs for all members of the family (WichitaLiteracy.com).
