As a French Canadian with a thirst for exploration, I hail from Montreal but love to discover new places around the world . One of my greatest pleasures is diving into books, and since childhood, I've had an unwavering passion for classical music, often attending concerts in various locations around the world. Currently, I find myself engaged in a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Helsinki, where I am reigniting my love for fundamental research. My scientific drive lies in catalysis, encompassing both homogeneous and heterogeneous aspects, as well as chemical reactors and industrial chemical processes. With a background in both chemistry and chemical engineering, I approach chemistry from diverse angles, allowing for a comprehensive exploration of the subject. I had the chance to learn chemistry and chemical engineering in 6 different academic departments in different countries (Canada, China, Netherlands, Finland). I am working on an amine based carbon dioxide capture for utilization and green oxidation process.Teaching and sharing knowledge is an integral part of who I am, and I possess a genuine zeal for it. Each course I teach becomes a fresh challenge that I eagerly strive to overcome, always seeking new ways to stimulate and engage my students. My teaching experience has honed my communication skills, enabling me to effectively convey complex ideas to learners.
